Carrie Faverty runs the casting division at Heard City, one of New York City's top recording studios. She started VO casting in 2006 at Sound Lounge, where she developed and ran their casting division for 14 years. Prior to that, she worked at Don Buchwald & Associates in their commercial department. In her years in casting, Carrie has cast for both voice overs and on-camera commercials for thousands of products. She works with union as well as non union talent on tv and radio commercials as well as webisodes, animated pilots, narrations, promos, video games, and anything else audio related. In a continuing effort to find and develop new talent, she has also become a teacher of voice over classes. Combining this experience with her previous years of employment at one of New York’s premier talent agencies, Carrie has developed the expertise to provide thoughtful and precise direction for auditions.
She loves scotch, Tom Jones, video poker, and french fries. Not in that order.
